Day 42 - Colorado Springs Build Day 1

Today marked the beginning of our Blitz Build in Colorado Springs. We will be building here for 7 days! And hopefully we will finish the house. Or at least get close to finishing.
This past weekend the NC2SD route came through Colorado Springs and started this build. They laid the concrete foundation and started the frame work.
We blessed the ground for the Davis-Henson family home. "May God bless this ground and make it sacred. Let this house be a centerpiece for the community, a foundation of strength. May God strengthen the walls with the security He alone gives, that the family will be free from want and fear. May this house be a home where the Davis-Henson family can grow and honor God in gratitude form His goodness."
By the end of day 1, we finished the framing and sheathing on the garage and the first floor of the house and started to assemble the scaffolding.
After dinner, a group of us went to see the Colorado Skysox, a local minor league baseball team. We painted up and everything! They played the Oklahoma City Redhawks and won 9-7.
The Catty Corner: Want to hear a construction joke? Oh, wait, never mind. I'm still working on that one.
