| Overall, the rides are getting shorter, which in my opinion is a great thing. Today's ride was pretty easy. We spent much of the day on a bike path that took us through several cities. At our lunch stop almost everyone fell asleep in the grass. After lunch we got off the bike path and onto roads for the last 20 miles. And just one mile from the host we stumbled upon a Sonic! |

| Of course, there was a challenge! The challenge of the day was steering through these barricades that prevent motor vehicles from accessing the path. It was tricky to get through without getting off my bike, which was annoying seeing as there were two almost every 1,000 feet. |

| We heard that there was a pool at the host site and we were pretty excited to get there and swim. Unfortunately, our mirage in the Utah desert disappeared when we arrived to find it covered. NOOO... |

The Catty Corner:
The Mormons were coming west. An advance scout rode back and reported, "There's a wonderful land ahead. It has a giant lake. That is where we should stop our wanderings. In the Promised Land we will spend our time fishing and making love."
Sticking his head out of his tent, Brigham Young said, "Salt the lake!"
