The hills keep on coming... But I keep on pedaling. |
My last South Carolina detour was to Harrison's wreck site. I tagged the road with some Bike & Build swagger. |
My Mom and Teresa met me there! |
I wanted to be artsy and show off my Harrison tattoo at the same time. |
Teresa bought 13 balloons to bring to the wreck site, one for each state that I will be going through. One of them popped on the way there, so I only got to release 12 but it was fitting since today was the last day in South Carolina. |
I crossed my first state line today, something I've never done on a bicycle. So long, South Carolina! Hello, Georgia! |
My biking buddy from home, Hils, stopped by the church on her way from Alabama to South Carolina. |
The Catty Corner:
Erin sped past me on a huge hill, practicing her new motto, "If you don't kill the hills, the hills will kill you." After about 30 feet she slows considerably and I hear her say, "Yep. That's all I've got." I got to the top way before her.
