Day 13 - Athens, GA to Roswell, GA

This ride was almost the death of me. Something like 3,874 feet in elevation gain.
You can see how enthused I was about the ride today.
There's a phrase I like to use when I'm totally not feeling it, whatever "it" may be: "riding the struggle bus". I was riding the struggle bus big time today and I actually ended up in Struggleville, USA. Really?! How is that even a thing?
Today was by far the worst day I've had on Bike & Build so far. I decided to try to ride despite being sick. I made it, but barely. I've been on the verge of tears all day and have lost it a few times. I would go into detail but I'm so done with this day. Not to mention the fact that we've got an 89 mile day tomorrow with a wake up time of 5 am and a high of 90 degrees. I don't think I'm going to make it. To be frank, this just plain sucks right now.

The Catty Corner:
Erin: "I don't like it when my arms look wet. That's when I know it's too hot."
